I guess both trees are the same. The left one is the tipical Abies sibirica, but the right one you can select as a narrow-particularly fastigiate form, which will show a columnar vision in 30 years. Give him a name and graft, please.

Thank you all for much needed information. Yes, Zsolt, it is one tree of many that differs this way from all others. It makes it more unlikely i quess, that it was some existing cultivar, planted there in purpose. Just little strange if there just happens to be a rare mutation in planted group of relatively small amount of trees.
I wonder if there is any lookalikes in abies sibirica cultivars?

You found a nice fastigiate form of Abies sibirica!
I guess we need to graft it this comming winter.

Abies sibirica is a brandnew world and there are only a few cultivars availlable at this moment.
Most of these cultivars are witches' brooms of which I can send you a couple in next spring.
They will fit very well in your climate!

I also have the cultivar 'Suncrest' which is still a small specimen.
For now it looks more compact then it's species, research in the U.S. didn't gave me new info about it..

Yes, that'll be OK, the two are fairly closely related.
