Pinus strobus 'Stonybrook'

I have to question one of my plants I recently ordered... as I'm trying to find a place for it. Everywhere I read online, this plant should be a weeper or if unstaked it should crawl on the ground. It should also have light gray contorted branches. All the pictures I'm finding also support this.

It has never been staked and appears to be 2-3 years old.

I question this because I have 2 other Pinus strobus weepers and they won't produce a leader like that unless staked. Plus this plant doesn't have the light gray branches.
