Simply one of the most beautiful small conifers you can grow. It's silvery-white appearance in Spring is followed by a more green with silvery hues the rest of the year. It grows very slowly, perhaps an inch some years(2-3 cm), a half inch in others. The spelling here is CORRECT, noted by Edwin Smits because the plant is patented as such. Please ignore the name included on the tag.
My specimen was acquired from Larry Stanley in trade though to my knowledge he hasn't offered it much for sale, if at all.
2010 - Winter foliage.
2011 - Early Spring foliage.
2012 - Early Summer foliage.
2013 - Spring. Fluffy foliage.
2013 - Autumn. The start of a leader perhaps, like all of my firs in this conifer haven.
And a perfect 12-15 year old specimen, estimated from Stephen Grubb, Foxhollow gardens, UK.
