Full StoryThis conifer selection by Drake's Crossing Nursery and offered by Jason Hupp and Western Evergreen Nursery is one of my favorite ten conifers. It shows exceptionally colored teal-blue, thick, long needles, very uniform squat-dwarf growth(of about three inches a year, 8cm), and just has that look to it. It's something I think should be planted in every garden that has some space for a small tree. The mother plant is enormous, probably 20-25 feet tall but probably also 40-60 years old. It's still thick and compact.
