Richard, Dave, thanks for the complements. Just left of the parrotia is a weeping sequoia. Beyond the trees we do have a rock bench to enjoy the view from the other side. Within a year the property may be up for sale. A great piece of land with beautiful views of the bay and river.

Alex, the spruce in question is Picea omorika "Pendula Bruns". We have 5 rentals on the property and after 25 years of upkeep and maintenance burn out has set in. Also we have another piece of property across the river, a smaller and more challenging lot for gardening. Until our minds are set on selling or more importantly until someone comes up with money I'm not planting in this location. Another view from the otherside.
