I'll continue to post these cultivars as I rebuild my PhotoBucket Needles and Pines album as long as there is an interest.

Pinus mugo 'Dolly's Choice'. One if the coolest small, conical-shaped dwarf mugos in my opinion..Little used but should be used more. Best planted in smaller areas or restricted areas of your garden that need some help. Tolerant of many soil types. Plant in well drained soils. Can tolerate some drought once established. Zone 3. Full sun. 44" high by 28" wide. Growth 3" a year. Close to 15 years old. Photo taken 10-6-12.

Dolly's a beaut! Please keep the pics coming, Dave.

I got a U of Idaho seedling order form and a catalog from forestfarm this week, so it's time to start on my wish list for next spring. 'Dolly's Choice' might make my list!

Dave,

I would love for you to keep posting your photos. I'm always looking for interesting conifers. Dolly sure is a nice looking smaller conifer.

Thank you for sharing.
