Here's sunset at my place - the three Sequoiadendron giganteum 'Pendulum' are having the same conversation as those Cupressus in Edwin's photo!

Good grief F&F that is really something! It's like molten liquid is being stirred into the sky.

And here is very common Picea abies, but beautifull, too:)

The two big brothers watching my Pinetum are Cupressus nootkatensis 'Kanada' (l) and Cupressus nootkantensis 'Jubilee' (r)
In the middle there's their little sister Cupressus nootkatensis 'Strict Weeping'...

That settles it. I'm moving.

The photo of my garden at sunset was taken by my blog partner, Jan LeCocq, and, as I recall, was after I had repeatedly begged her to stop for the day and come in and have a glass of wine!

Wow, even if not a conifer, that last one is pretty spectacular!

Severnside, I am the writing half of our blog and she is the photography half. My part can be done at any time of the day or night, with refreshment at hand, without regard to weather, light, etc. She has to get up before first light, often forgo coffee, tough the elements and then repeat at the end of the day. I have finally learned to let her have her way!
