seems to be a European cultivar as I find nothing on the Internet about it Stateside. Some sites list it as x media and others as baccata. Chicago Botanic Gardens has a small cluster of them growing on top of one of the knolls in the conifer area. Tall, tight, narrow, with dark green foliage. May need to do a return visit with shears in the pocket and a zip-lok bag.
