Four years of Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Kosteri'

One of the first twenty conifers I ever bought, this guy came through ebay from a vendor I now think was selling plants from Stanley and Sons nursery. The amazing thing is that this plant basically looked like it does today, five+ years ago in 2008. Here are four years of it's 'growth' and no, Ken, I didn't just retake photos over and over today - lol.

It seems to be growing under a half inch a year, or maybe a half millimeter. If you squint hard, it's growing laterally perhaps a quarter inch a year(towards 'Baldwin's Variegated')
