Ginkgo biloba 'Beijing Gold'

All the recent talk about ginkgos perked my interest so I decided to get an unusual one, Ginkgo biloba 'Beijing Gold'. It just arrived in dormancy. Anyone have any experience with this cultivar? Are the light (i.e. will it burn) and water requirements different than the common variety? Hard to even find pics of the leaves on the Web let alone care descriptions. Thanks.

I grow it. Just dropped leaves last week otherwise I would post you a photo.

Will not burn in full sun.

Normal requirements. Same as common variety.

It depends on your location and sun intensity. Mine is in half day sun ( afternoon unfortunately ) and it's leaves burned.

I just moved it this fall to a new location where it will get half day morning sun. Hopefully it will fair better.

But in Oklahoma We have very intense long summers.

I just have to say 8 hours of sun a day for my Ginkgo cultivar. It was fairly intense here in KC. No water for months other then what I provided.

Really no issues but micro-climate is a big player and can be a determining factor for success or failure.

Does anyone know its dimensions when mature? Is it a slow or fast grower? How big will he be when 10yrs old?
