Please help - Dwarf Alberta Spruce dying??

| I have eight 6-7 feet tall Dwarf Aberta Spruce trees with patches of lighter green showing up last fall, I wasn't concerned, because they didn't look bad, the color variation made them look even prettier, I didn't know it's a problem until now these patches are turning yellow over the course of a year. I was told that there are no mites, most likely it's a root rot problem, because the ground would heave a little when trunk being rocked back and forth, which I was told shouldn't happen for long established trees-- the trees were planted 12 years ago!
Is there anything to do to save the trees? I've had two local tree care professionals taking a look, none has any idea what happened and what to do.
I don't know if I can attach photos here, I have a taken a few pictures but couldn't figure out how to attach them with my message... |

| You have to host your pictures like on Photobucket or someone like them. Once you've done that, then copy and paste the HTML address of the picture into the body of your message. Once you're done, when you hit preview you should see the photo appear as it will when you post it. mark |
