increase that bed.. and plant somethings so when these are gone.. you will still have your hot tub block ... all that grass in the last pic.. and you used 3 feet next to the wall ... whats that all about ... lol

nice lawn.. but i can recommend about 650 conifers causing you to get rid of it.. lol

Actually fish water watering the arbs :-). Now its freezing in here so done with watering

Love junipers hope they last!

The reason your junipers changed color is due to the colder weather. They all tend to take on a late/fallwinter color.

Whether its a duller version of the base color, purple, orange, yellow, bronze its all over the map based upon the species/cultivar.

Be careful with watering a juniper. They despise wet feet. That would be another symptom of discoloration as the plant is beginning to die.

One last thing that looks like a cultivar of J. scopulorum. Just a heads up that species looks miserable in the Midwest after a awhile. You'll want to go with species more adapted for humidity if those fail.

i probably had 5 different named versions... even a couple bigboxstore versions [who knew better.. back when i was starting .. lol] ... and 14 years later ... i have gotten rid of of them all .. and not unlike you.. i loved the heck out of them ....
