Whoops!!! I forgot how to edit. The Pic please. A Larch peeks through the right side of photo and a neighbors huge Liriodendron tulipifera towers above the Laurel, Parrotia and evergreens. All seasons in the garden are grand.

shows how nice a few good deciduous trees can be at this time of year for their own color and texture as well as how they interact with and enhance the different qualities of the various conifers. too much of either might end with monotony (or complete bareness in a few weeks for the broadleaves) but the mixture here is just right! good pics. great garden.
