Not an impulse buy haha - it was 20 bucks and it goes well in the last remaining spot where I need to establish privacy from the neighbors. Garden center is closing for the season next week and I got 80 bucks off.

They recieved it a month ago....seemed like a good deal. The burlap job was so-so, but they all seem that wat.

I did get a Silver Eastern redcedar(Glauca I believe) which has a feathery blue look...I love it. I do know you're not a fan of eastern redcedars but it's really nice.

Anyway, those cultivars you mentioned look great, but won't resolve my need for privacy as much.

Humidity is a good thing for Fraser firs....the spruce fir forests in Appalachia have consistent dense fog for most of the year. We do get some here and I am near a lake.
