Deodar Cedar Cultivars

I would love some advice on deodar cedar cultivars. What do you think of my chances with a couple of these in my back garden? I do not live on a farm and would love to find a cultivar that doesn't get too wide, more columnar, mostly sun. What about 'Gold Cone'?
