I thought about making this a "name that conifer thread", but it might have taken a couple of years to get a winner!
This is Papuacedrus papuana. With those crazy stomata, you can imagine this comes from a humid environment - it does! This is also incredibly rare in cultivation. It would be good to see it more in places suitable for it (parts of Hawaii, south Florida etc.) {{gwi:853105}}From Conifers Feb. 2009
