two creepy pines

they are both on the hill.. just above the golden carpet from the other post ...

i think this one is Pinus sylvestris 'Hillside Creeper'

and this one is Pinus sylvestris 'Albyns' .. looks like is might cone next year .... actually.. looks like it did this year ... i am simply amazed.. how things that escape me in the blinding sun.. pop right out in pix ....ken

I have both of them Ken... Hillside creeper is one of my favortes. I don't know... I just really like Pines as ground covers.

I'd never given those creeping Sylvestris much thought,but seeing those specimens of yours Ken ...hmmm...very nice!

Aaah Ken, I like BOTH of them. I already had Hillside creeper on my want list from seeing it in a garden while on a trip. Here is a photo of how they grew theirs.

However, I think I like Pinus sylvestris 'Albyns' even better. Thank you for sharing your photos. I'm going to go broke viewing your posts. :)
