To set the record straight

There seems to be some confusion with the twisted or curly leaf cultivars of Pinus strobus. The following information was given to me by Wiel Linssen from Baexham in Holland, one of the most prolific and well respected 'dwarf conifer' collecters in Europe. I believe the original info comes from Bob Fincham, Coenosium Gardens.

Pinus strobus 'Tiny Kurls'(Tiny Curls) is a selected seedling from Pinus strobus 'Tourlosa'. Pinus strobus 'Green Curls and Green Twist are synonymous (the same) and originated as a witches' broom from Pinus strobus 'Contorta. Pinus strobus 'Tiny Kurls' is the more vigorous of the two. There is also a Pinus strobus 'Mini Twist' or 'Mini Twisted', has anyone got any info on this one, or would like to throw others into the mix ? I guess this will be useful infomation for the conifer database.
