Looking forward to it! We're going to have our first-ever event at the San Francisco Botanical Garden - a docent who specializes in conifers is going to take us around, even into the nursery and greenhouses where they are propagating some very rare conifers. Also a great day planned at the Mendocino Botanical Gardens to celebrate their becoming an ACS Reference Garden.

Just a quick reminder that 2012 was perhaps the
"break-out year for Western Region ACS, as much planning
and preparation went into the Petaluma area gathering centered around Sara Malones extraordinary garden.It
also a featured a visit to Quarry Hill,having since become
a standout amongst ACS reference gardens in the Western U.S.
As a result the national membership will look forward to
a 2015 meeting centered in the San Francisco Bay area,
an event I'm certainly looking forward to.D.
