In Honour of Her Majesty's Announcement...

Notice I used the British spelling for honor...;-)

OK all my mates in the UK and elsewhere, name a cultivar in honour of the new baby-to-be, Picea abies 'windsor white' perhaps? Why is it that the rose growers get to have all the fun using pop culture references in cultivar names? One exception, I remember a Nepenthes called 'john holmes' after a 1970s-1980s porn star quite famous for his anatomy. This VERY long and large pitchered variety got its name for obvious reasons, lol!

Yeah, the announcement I saw was made by 'The Palace', not by the Duchess. Apparently she's hospitalized with major morning sickness problems. Ok now we're definitely 'off topic' on this forum, although it fits pretty well with all of the hormonal topics ads that appear all over iVillage sites...
