New Years Eve Warnings :)

Dear Friends,

as we come slowly to a new year, I have to share with you my very serious scientific discoveries.

Please, don't give to your conifers to much whisky or vodka. They are unable to sleep out alcohols, like humans. Conifers are always remembering if they get to much of it.

You do your best, if you use wine for internal use instead of irrigating conifers...

I wish You all a Happy New Year!

Zsolt

    Dears,
I'm thinking since ages, what a broom is useful for?
Now its clear, Alexander Vereshchak of Russia solved the burning question finally. He invented, that brooms are best for clearing the back mirrors of cars. Now I wait the new year as all the world cleans their mirrors with brooms... :)

    Ha-ha-ha!!!
    My favorite pictures!!!
The last one was made in March 2010 by Alexander near Pruhonice, and you can see Pavel Ershov on the picture doing this job, the first person using witches broom for cleaning!

    Heeey Maria!
It's bin a while that you posted here for the last time.
I'm glad that you mentioned that it is Pavel Ershov on that photo.
For a second I thought that I lost my memory in faces because I didn't recognize Alexander in it... :0)
    Thanks!

Btw, is that an Abies sibirica broom?

Hello Zsolt and Edwin and everybody!
Happy New Year to all of us!
No Zsolt I have not been there but I saw that pictures before!
Edwin it was long time ago and that time they had a lot of brooms so they do not remember which one is that!
Dax, for nose hair remover is better to use a grafting knife!

Here they are pictures from that trip with Alexander (in the middle with that broom)!

    Maria, thanks for the pics.
I see a lot of familiar faces on it, I know all except for the one at the second from the left and the one at most right side.
Can you tell me who these persons are?

What's that fancy brief case Mr. Malik hold in his hands?
I bet it's full of money to buy that very rare witches' broom which Alexander is holding in his hands.
A big deal was going on there, with a lot of eye whitnesses ;0)

Happy New Year to all of you!!!

Lets see the nice company finally:
Lada Valenta of CZ, Frantisek Borovec of Chrudim CZ (many cembras and mugos discovered with Franz in the last 15 years), Janusz Szewczyk of Poland, Miroslav Malik of CZ, Alexander Vereshchak and Sergey Goroshkevich of RUS, Franz Etzelstorfer of AUT and Frantisek Topinka of CZ.
Great times if so many excellent coniferists are gathering.
    Zsolt
