Hemlock rescue

I just moved this today from the old house- pulled it up in NC about 20yrs ago on vacation. Why move a hemlock? Sentimental of course and the fact that was 5in and actually grew to this big. Last year during the heat(109F) was the first time it ever scorched and that wasn't very much. Whomever buys the house or leases it won't take care of it I'm sure. It grew over the roots of a giant water oak and survived only by me carefully making sure the irrigation was kept turned on. I'm not expecting much. I'd rather watch it die here than over there. Somebody said the root system was pancake and that was very true. It was a matter pealing the roots off the oak's roots.- many small fibrous roots- that was the only good thing about it, like an azalea. Watered it well and gave it some Carl Pool root activator. Sprayed it with Wilt-Stop two weeks ago- we'll see what happens.
