sluice - do you have any more photos of the Jerry Morris brooms. flexilis, edulis, etc, the edulis 'Penasco', 'Farmy', and 'Trinidad' look great plants.

Thank you for the tour!

Is it the Denver Botanical Garden or at a private location? (Dax needs to know to plan his trip there)

And...me like pictures. More please!

Bluespruce, I'm new and don't know about Jerry Morris brooms. One of your earlier posts seemed to say that some ponderosas are in that category. I'll post them next, and please let me know if they are.

Barbara, it is the Denver Botanical Garden. They are currently doing construction in their gardens that border the south side of the property (e.g. Rock Alpine Garden, where these pines were) so access can be limited. I accidently went past the temporary barriers that were set up and then trudged through some mud before getting to these trees. Not sure when all this is supposed to be completed.

sluice, Thanks for the tour

I acquired a small graft of pinus edulis 'Farmy' last year so your image gave me some idea what to expect in 10 years - if it lives that long.

In the image titled pinus edulis 'Penasco', do you recall the name of the blue specimen in that picture?

Marshall,
It's picea pungens 'Marble'. Good luck with 'Farmy' !
