Aahh, the wall hanging....found in the mud in Sicily in 1943 by my father. A treasured possession that was invisible on the chocolate wall. Thanks Cyn.

Oh how cool. I have wondered if our dads ever ran into each other. Probably not, but they were both in Sicily and, if I remember correctly, your dad was at Anzio, too? Yes, definitely a precious treasure.

The doll was my great Aunts. China head and hands - not terribly collectible, but precious, none the less. MMMmmm, dad was at Ortona and Monte Cassino - I'll have to check on Anzio - I have a feeling that was an exclusively American onslaught.

Your wall color nicely brings out the colors of the wall hanging and the other photos/prints.

I understand about slowing down with painting jobs. Looks like you are making good progress.

When the weather warms enough that the windows can be left open I plan to paint my office. Still undecided about color. Either a sunny yellow or a spring green.

Look forward to seeing another photo when you have finished.

Great job Nancy, love the color. I have to do a bit of painting myself later on, mostly touchups on some wood work but I'll probably wait for summer. I missed Trivia on Sunday, ate something that didn't agree with me so was down and out and feeling sorry for myself for a couple of days.

Thanks for your warm words guys. I have to tell you this paint is amazing - I'm going to sound like a commercial, but it is CIL no VOC paint. We used in the living room last fall -C2, and it covered better than any paint I have ever used. It is challenged here with what we are covering, but there are NO fumes. Wild - even for a latex, it is awesome.
