Weekend Trivia -- Sunday

Yesterday Bobbie, gave us a little segue into today's question. In 1948 a Californian named Walter Morrison developed a flying disc he and his partner called Flyin-Saucer. He later refined the shape and renamed the disc. Wham-o bought the rights in 1955, and Morrison made a lot of money from royalties. In 1957, Wham-O renamed the disc the Frisbee after hearing that East Coast college students were calling it by that name, the term Frisbee coming from the name of the New England pie manufacturer Frisbie Pie Company. (From Wikipedia).

Your question, and it's a good one, I think, is this: What was the Frisbee called between 1955 and 1957?
