I did it!

Despite having the flu and a crazy high temperature, I finished the sweet pickles. This was the most involved canning project I've done to date. Yesterday I also put up 6 pints of peach puree and today it was 3 pints and 6 1/2pints of the sweet 9 day pickles. Before canning they tasted like they were going to taste like the delicious pickles my Mom made. I can't wait to taste them in a few weeks!
Next up will be oodles of tomato sauces!

And when you finally taste what you canned, you'll be very, very happy you did all that work.
It all sounds delicious. yum yum

Good on you :) I can hardly believe you've done all that, in the heat and especially when you've been under the weather. Girl you've sure got what it takes, but please take care of yourself.
