I just got a lot of seeds for pink ruellia which is a 3 foot tall pink "Mexican Petunia". I have not planted my seeds yet but I have the purple variety and like it very much. I was told by the gardener who gave me these that the seeds can be planted now. Full sun and average soil. They are very drought tolerant. Caution: search gardenweb and you will find that some folks find this plant invasive while others say that it does reseed but it's not a problem. I hope it invades my garden!
