WANTED: Bishop of Llandaff dahlia

Anyone digging dahlias about now? I really want the Bishop of Llandaff.

Debbie, I don't dig mine now. I leave them in the ground, but I could dig you some in the spring. Let me know if this works!!

Thanks, GLynis. : ) I wonder if I have anything you would like in trade.

Is the Bishop as great as I think? This is the one flower that always catches my eye in books. I do have a red Bishop's Children that seems quite close but the foliage is gangly and the flowers want to face downward.

the flowers face upward for me, but the foliage is gangly...however, they are in a very, very rich and moist soil so things grow overly tall. They might be happy in your home anyway!
