This is my favorite post of all today! I've been wondering about Buffy and hoping to see some new photos. Awwww, she reminds me of the Great Dane, Alexis, I had for 11yrs. She would carry all sorts of things and loved to help out. My Flora, a beautiful Germ.Shep/Border Collie mix, used to collect bottles, too! I miss her so much.

Thanks for posting Nell, it's a joy to see Buffy again. The pic with the watering can is precious.

Oh goodness. Most dogs just dig up plants. Can you clone her?

Those are the cutest photos I have ever seen! What an awesome dog that she helps you like that - although you seem to be alluding to the contrary.

My Shepadore, Elsa (Black Lab & German Shepherd cross), helped me gather firewood. She would grab hold of the other side of the log I was carrying and not let go until we got back to the house. When Elsa had puppies, they too helped out. They brought home the kindling!

Your Buffy is a beautiful and obviously intelligent girl.

Nell, what a wonderful post. I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Buffy is a precious being. I too have missed seeing her pictures. She has really grown into a beauty!

What a gorgeous girl and soooo helpful, looks like she's into recycling too. Is she paid off in treats for her bottles?
Love the pic of the wisteria and daffs. We had to cut our 20 year plus wisteria to the ground this spring it died, there's one sprout coming from the root, spindly but lots of flower buds on it so maybe all is not lost.
