I'm thinking the same thing. Already? Sheesh. Mine are barely a foot tall, and those are the ones the birds planted.

btw...I think I might have a rooted cutting of Oakleaf Hydrangea now. I still need a few more weeks to know for sure.

The ones that caame up on their own are half again as tall as the ones that I scattered the seeds.
The first flower opened today.

And I haven't even planted mine yet! Wowzers!

Me neither. I think Monday will be the best day to finally get some seeds in the ground and I normally soak my MG seed overnight before planting. Probably won't see any blooms until late July at this rate. Alto there are volunteers sprouting in the same area and healthy little plants,too; but I can't trust that they won't be those Grandpa Otts coming back to haunt me - AGAIN.

Oh, this post was about sunflowers wasn't it? Sorry plantmaven didn't mean to go OT. I have two packs of sunflowers I need to get planted as soon as possible.

LOL! I think we all got suckered by grandpa Otts...once.

I'll take a pic tomorrow. I had several other things to do today.
