Oh lisa your home and garden are just so perfectly charming. You have done a fantastic job of keeping it cottage. Thanks for the info on the mirror. I actually have the mirrors for the back of the intact windows...I leave the glass. Will just stick them on as I have in the past with epoxy and hope that the moisture outside doesn't get inside...overhang on the building will probably keep it dry. Again I can't get past how pretty it all is. c

Everything so 'cottagey'(sp??).

We have a large rear deck without a roof. We are in full sun without a roof. Didn't need it when we built the deck.
We were totally in the dark because of a multitude of huge maple trees on all sides.

The trees are now gone. We need a roof!

DH and I talk about it every year. Full roof vs. pergola.
As yet undecided.

We don't remain on our deck for very long during the day.

What I wouldn't give for a front porch like yours. A place to sit and rock, sipping a tall glass of iced tea and while away the hot summer under the protective shade of a roof. (SIT?? yeah like that would ever happen! I can dream can't I?).
