Theme here is cool. Cool colors, cool shady spots and cool cat. :)

I mentioned in another post that the yellow irises here bloomed this year for the first time in 3 years. Actually all of them haven't bloomed in the last 3 years. They are making up for it this year.

Don't know the name of this "cool" blue one. Anyone else know?

Cool "Lime Green Sorbet" columbine. These are some that reseeded. Seems they're only green before they really open.

Looking good, I mean cool. :-) What kind of ferns are those? Do you find you have to water them frequently? They're beautiful!

very pretty. like your hostas....especially that cool blue one! re irises: i'm calling it the year of the flowers because everything is blooming this year...even things i didn't know had flowers. even my horseradish has a big weird flower.

I love the way you have put the blue iris in front of the yellow. From the shape of the leaves and flowers, those blue ones look like some type of siberian iris. Nice cat. Kitty looks like he/she is watching over the garden.
