Our dog loves the cat food too. We offer him a little treat of it when we feed the cats (all outside now).

I am surprised she doesn't just hop up there.

I bet it's only a matter of time. :)

She sure is a curious and spunky little thing :-)) And so pretty. The pictures made me laugh, too cute. I bet life with Mauve is never dull.

How cute!
I love pictorial stories like this. Maeve is so darned cute and just a beautiful dog.

Thanks for sharing her antics with us...and the cats too. I bet that cat was smacking and making that food sound so delicious. My cats love doing that to my dogs. "Mmmmm. Don't you wish you had some of this Maeve? Mmmmm, it's so good!"

Or is that cat the I'm ignoring you dog." type cat?

Both drive dogs nuts.
Hehehe.

I don't think she has mastered "a running start" yet. I would like to think it's because she been told "leave it". hahahaha
I hope she never does or I will have to move M's food to the top of the refrigerator.
She is a thrill.

She wants Marmalade to play with her so bad. I think Marmalade has popped her a couple times, as she knows how close she can get.
Usually Marmalade has adjusted to the new additon by this many months. She is 16 and has always lived with dogs. But she does not like Maeve. Perhaps it is because Maeve moves so fast.

Mauve just makes me smile. So small. A 5 pound dog. Your cat actually looks bigger. You are making me want to get a toy fox terrier. I haven't had a dog for many years, used to have dobbermans years ago when I was younger. Couldn't deal with lifting a doby now. Putting the small dog in the sink to wash it sounds much better to me these days as I am older now.

soooo cute! our sweet bichon zoe loves the crunchy stuff too, including cat food.

RE: Maeve

The cat is huge. Her mother was a manx, which is why she has 1/2 of a tail.
I seriously considered another doby, but for the same reason decided on a small low care dog.
I have had 3 back surgeries and have two more disk gone and a vertebrae out of line.

I hear her in the bedroom tormenting Marmalade. My sheltie plays with Maeve, so they both get a good workout. When she is having fun she makes a little huffing noise.
It is so funny to hear this tiny dog growl at some noise.

I did not know there was such a breed as toy fox terrier until I stumbled on a breeders web site.
