I had two flowers of this early bloomer today. This is another of those ones I got from Olallie gardens when I was trying for early bloomers. This is VERNAL TUTONE. I actually like it alot as I love the bi color coloring on it.

Here is the area were I pulled out all those clumps of ALL FIRED UP earlier because I just did NOT like the way it looked along the path with all the daylily leaves leaning over into the grass path. Replaced them with the SNOWCAP dwarf Shasta daiseys and the STRAWBERRY SEDUCTION yarrow just starting to bloom in there now. I like it so much better this way and don't miss those few clumps of daylilies at all.
