Japanese Beetle Trap - Works!

I knew these darned things would be burying into the ground and laying eggs for next year so decided to try a trap. W-M was out of them, but a local farm supply had the Safer brand one. It has just been out one day and that was through a long rain.....when I checked it this morning, I thought it was full of water....no, that is beetles filling the bag.

The branch right above was clustered with breeding pairs that I just raked down into the bag. It would be ok for organic because it is just using pheromones to draw them in, no poisons. I figure each one trapped will not be breeding or laying eggs.

It cost around $7.50 and comes with two bags, but only one lure.
