Two Plants I am Impressed With

Both of these are ones I bought heading in the low maintenance area of gardening:

The first is hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight'. This is its second year and it has been blooming for a month now.{{gwi:629114}}

and the other is a rose, Cecile Brunner. I can't get a good shot of light colored plants, but here she is. Very low maintenance and has been blooming almost longer than any plant in the gardens.

Darn you! Now I want to run out and buy those 2 plants. I have admired Limelight in catalogs for years, but catalogs over-praise all their plants for sale. They look beautiful.

I love Cecile Brunner. I have a climber and she is the most dainty, beautiful rose.

Beautiful! I am always envious of people who can get Hydrangeas to bloom and look so nice.

I bought a Cecile Brunner last year. Shrub form (I hope). Is that what yours is? I fell in love with the fragrance as I walked past. Mine hasn't done much though, but that is because I didn't put it in a good area. I moved it last week to a better spot, so hopefully it will look as nice as yours next year. ;-)
