I love the red switch grass. Need to keep my eyes open for some next year. I have Japanese blood grass, but it's done very little this year. It has the same coloring, but stays a lot smaller.

The red switch grass is gorgeous. It's definitely on my list for next year. I love your grass bed. They add so much texture to the garden. Do you leave them up for the winter?

Yes, they stay as is until early spring when they must be cut back severely. It is quite a job on the large ones, but then isn't all gardening work? I am moving all the eragrostis though. They are too wispy and are encroaching on their neighbors. Not sure yet where I will put them
