Bluebirds

| While I was out taking a tour of things a couple of days ago, it seemed there were birds everywhere....I stopped, stood very still to see what they were. I managed to get a couple of shots of the state bird, Eastern Bluebird. I had to use the zoom so they aren't as sharp, but here they are:

| I do have one next box that my BIL gave me and they did build in it this spring. They have built in a hole a tree in the west yard for several years now. That is the side of the yard I saw them in. |

| I built 4 more bluebird houses this week only to find out they are territorial and will claim up to 2 acres for themselves. So if anyone in their range wants a box, let me know. I've got 2 I'll send out if you pay postage. :) I had a pair nest in the one box I built last fall. The males tend to nest and mate near where they were born. The females are more nomadic. Babies!
