What good looking grands! You have every right to be proud. I hate it that he is going over there!!!! Blessings of the Thanksgiving season on you all and I hope it follows him where ever he is. We are having ours the day after....MIL gets first dibs. |

Thanks. She was my first grand, after I had only sons. She was also born on Mothers Day. You may recall that she married 2 years ago. That was the last time they saw each other until last week. He was always short and had mosquito legs. I kept telling him he would be tall one day. He was thrilled when he grew taller than I. All the grown "kids" sat at the bar and referred to the table as the old folks table. |

Yep, you have a couple of very nice-looking grandkids there, Kathy. I can tell just by looking at them that they are great kids young adults and I'll bet you have had lots of fun with them through the years. As for the old folks, you guys look pretty darn good too. :-) ThinMan |

Thanks for the compliments. He came to the house and we had pizza yesterday. It was very difficult to watch him drive off. He has since shaved the beard. On Monday he wore his flight suit and gave a talk to the ROTC class at his old high school. I am so thankful that he will be in a plane and not on the ground. |

| First off, Kathy, where did you find the fountain of youth? Secondly, beautiful grand kids and family. I will keep your grandson in my prayers. After having recently toured Egypt, Jordan and Israel I have experienced a little taste of what going on in the middle east. They need our prayers - BADLY! (((HUGS))) Cousin Edna |

| My prayers for your grandson, and my thanks for his service. It must be so hard to let him go. You are all so beautiful. |

| Thanks, it was hard to see him go. This is what he does. Big responsibility for 21 years old. It looks like they are refuling over CA, but I don't know for sure.

| Incredible picture. Is he in the air force? Is he the fueler or the fuelee? |

He is in the AF. He is the boom operator and load master on the tanker. So, he is the fueler. He told me that when he came home the last time it was a 17 hour day. From the time they got up until they arrived back in CA. A bunch of his friends were there to greet him. I am thankful for that, as none of our family could be in CA. This is what he has wanted to do since he was about 6 yrs old. |

| Wow, Kathy. They grow so fast, don't they. Is he stationed in Calif? if so where? I'm close to Travis AFB. I take my mom there often as she still has base privileges. |

| Mid-air refueling still seems amazing to me - like something from a James Bond movie. I'm glad that, if he has to be over there, he will be in a nice safe airplane where IEDs can't reach. TM |

| you should be proud!!! Very nice looking bunch..I think they got good genes :) |

| I have not been on here in a few days. I did not realize y'all had posted. Cuz, he is stationed at Travis. Hard to believe this is the same kid that used to bounch off the walls. He has always been my garden "helper". TM, I have never seen the refueling, but the KC10s come over my house on a daily basis. The come to Kelly USA for the maintainence. Keesha, thanks for the compliment. Kathy |

| Well cousin, if you ever come visit I'm a mere 35 minutes from Travis. Often the planes fly over where we live ... I can't tell you how big they are. I'm talking jaw dropping big. |
