Chindo Sweet Viburnum zone?

Hi all. I was wondering whether anyone has any experience with Chindo Sweet Viburnum. I planted one this year and the tag (Monrovia) said zones 7-11. When I look it up, many sites have it listed as 8-11. Tonight the temperature is going to dip below 10F. So, my questions are:

1. Should I trust Monrovia's zoning?

2. If not, what can I do to help the plant through the temperature dip?

Megan, I'm sorry I had no definite answer for you, but only could wonder if you mulched real good when you planted the viburnum.

Thanks for your response. I mulched pretty well this fall when I planted the Chindo, and that must have helped, because it seems to be doing just fine. It's also nice to know that Monrovia didn't seem to stretch the truth about zoneage as some plant nurseries do!
