| Those bearded iris are called cemetery whites around here. They are the first to bloom. And that is where I got my start. They came from the grave of my 4th great grandfather who was buried 05 May 1862 here in TX. |

| I LOVE the white Fleur delis! I have some seeds, but can't seem to get them going. What's the secret? Your pond turned out delicious! Oh, and you have Camellias - heavenly. I can't even buy them up here. If I could, I would grow them in a large container and winter them over in the greenhouse. Love all your pics. Beautiful! |

| Ooooo! It gives us "low zoners" such hope when the "warm zoners" post pictures of what is popping up and blooming! Maybes me so happy to thing that spring will be spreading up this way soon. I have some of those white spuria type Iris like what is in your 4th pic and love them. They remind me of something...not sure what exactly. Like an exotic butterfly or those lovely Japanese paintings. I have a couple questions though. What are the purple flowers I am seeing in the picture with the white Iris in pic #4? What is the shrub by your pond with the reddish bottle-brush like flowers? Charming Kathy! |

| Lily, the fairy reading a book was a gift from my DIL. Chris, The purple flowers are a pink and lavender lantana. It grew into the Thryallis. The shrub near the pond is shrimp plant. A corn poppy opened today and one larkspur is blooming. |

| Your pictures inspired me - I am so ready to start revamping my big Koi pond. I sure miss it.And my sister has plenty of baby Koi to give to me as soon as it is done. Thanks for the "push" to get out there in this chilly weather and get after it before the snakes come out. |
