spring returns to Southern Illinois!

Starting tomorrow our temps are going to be back up to spring like highs (and lows) and the extended forecast shows highs in the 60's and 70's and lows in the 50's and 60's! I am very excited to be able to get out in the yard and plant everything I have been 'collecting' over the last few weeks. I think it is safe to put in the border-line tender perennials now so I will be very busy this weekend. I have bare root astilbe, ferns, gladiolus corms, hardy geranium, tall phlox, caladiums and elephant ears, creeping phlox, lithadora, and lots of hosta to plant before the rains come in next week (nothing better to water them in with than a good soaking rain storm!). I also ordered some glamini gladiolus corms to put in pots and I am very excited to see how they perform. What is everyone else putting in the ground this weekend?
