blazing star liatris

I put some blazing star liatris corms in last fall. I don't see them coming up yet....is it too soon? (I think the unseasonably warm temps we had have got me fooled into thinking its later in the growing season than what it is...sorry if I am just being impatient!!) I haven't any experience with them, and we were very, very dry at the time I put them in so I am probably more worried about them than I should be. Anyone in the 6/7 zone see them coming up yet? Thanks!

Hi mrssims,
I am in 6 and we had the great warm weather and now cold! I have many liatris and not seen any sign of mine yet. Think it maybe to soon! I sure wish the warm would come back. Hope this helps.

Thanks! That is what I needed to hear. Yes, the warm temps were nice. It was 82 here on Wednesday and this morning I woke up to snow falling. It didn't stick around but how crazy is that?!

I'm farther south, & I "may" have seen one patch just peeking out before it turned cold today. I have several spots where it grows, & only one may be showing.

I live in zone 7b and my liatris ligulistylis (I don't have your variety) just emerged in the last few days -- but, we've been having lots of warm weather and sunshine here.
