Beautiful blooms. I really enjoyed those daffodil pictures as I just love daffodils. Lemon Glow is on my to get list to order this fall along with a batch of others. Your JETFIRE remind me of my MARIA daffs since both have the orange trumpets. But I think the orange is darker on my Maria daffs than the Jetfires.

WOW! That bloodroot is gorgeous! I have the double and love it, but I do tend to lean more towards preferring single blooms in general. I didn't realize the single had such incredible yellow centers. I'll have to be on the lookout for some of that.

The bloodroot is, indeed, gorgeous. I've never successfully grown it. It disappears after the first season, never to reappear. Might have something to do with the fact that the plant itself seems to disappear and I must rip it out planting later in the season.

Here's another shot of the bloodroot. It does tend to shatter rather quickly. What can one say? "Everything that man esteems/ Endures a Moment/ Or a day" (Yeats).
