Yes, they certainly are! The neat thing for me is that anytime I look at a plant blooming that I was gifted with, I automatically think of that person!

I love that too- each time you see the plant, you think of the person. I have a yellow daylily sent to me by Linda several years ago, and I call it my Lindalily. I look forward to seeing it and feeling thankful and special(!) each year.

They really are :) I, like everyone else, think of the person that gave me that plant when I see it (I have tags all around my garden, next to my Momma Hosta, Jo's Hydrangea, Diane's Daylily, etc.) It's gotten a little out of hand the last few years because every fall a group of about 10 of us get together for an afternoon to swap plants so now my garden is filling out with lots of different plants from different people, but most of the time, I know what came from whom......LOL I love gardeners!!!

What a lovely and generous thing to do! It does seem that gardeners respond to the generosity of nature by sharing that in their daily lives. It is good karma! No matter where in the world I am, when I find a gardener, it feels like home.

Lovely gifts!!! And have you noticed that when you go to a nursery, no matter how busy and crowded, everyone is patient and nice to one another when waiting in line or wandering about the place? Yes, we are a kind, generous group! :)
