Yep, the one frost toasted mine too. they finally did bloom, but not nearly like they usually do. It has been an odd year, hasn't it?

Well, that's encouraging if you say yours bloomed.

Mine haven't bloomed yet, but the buds look good and its still early for them here

The buds on mine are all black and crumble between your fingers. :(

Boo! And it didn't get cold enough here for a really good display. Bad weather this year.

Here is spiraea prunifolia from two weeks ago. A rather unkempt and leggy bush, but the spires are a welcome early bloom. Sometimes termed "bridal wreath," though the later van houttei is also given that name.
