I'm enjoying my first spring as the owner of my first home- which happens to be set on two acres of ancient trees and a seemingly infinite number of flower beds! Though mostly neglected by the previous owner, I'm trying to trim back and mulch and replace plantings where needed! I'm having so much fun!

I'm an avid vegetable gardener and these little plants are taking up real estate that would be perfect for peas. I started pulling them, thinking they were weeds, then noticed the buds and bulbs. They have no smell (I thought at first they were wild onions) and very weak grassy leaves. Help?

Question is, what are they and will they bloom pretty enough to justify keeping their little bed?
