My fav is the en masse planting of the larkspur! Like an ocean of blues...what a wonderful idea.

That is a gorgeous photo of larkspur and birdbath. You should see if you can enter that in a magazine like Birds and Blooms. It's fantastic!

The larkspur area happened when I threw the spent stalks there last year to run the mower over for mulch.
A word of advice, a mower will not mulch tough larkspur stalks.

Thanks for sharing your visit to plantmaven's with us. Lovely larkspar and poppies and roses. And a tomato plant with green tomatoes! I just sowed my tomato seeds today which will grow inside under lights until the end of May.

I nudged up the thermostat as this cool damp air has me freezing. Wish I were with you all sitting out in the warmth.

That larkspur is just gorgeous! I winter sowed some for the first time this year and am so excited to see it bloom - I love how yours is around the bird bath!

The red flower is a fringed poppy. I love those too and will try to get some planted next year.

Hi Bobbie, so nice to "see" you here. Tomatoes are very difficult to grow in San Antonio because we have such a short time in spring before it gets too hot. I was definitely impressed by those.

That larkspur surrounded birdbath is especially gorgeous!

They're all so pretty, including the larkspur, but the nigella is so delicate. Very beautiful gardens...and I like how you explained you could tell which house you were visiting, without looking at the numbers :)

Spring definitely arrived for you. Great plants, great garden, how nice to see a garden in person instead of just online.
