How unusual. I've never seen it in nurseries in my area, but haven't actually hit the nurseries yet this Spring. Maybe it's something new.

The pictures are from rural Mexico. Who knows what other hidden plant treasures there is around the world!

That's Celosia cristata aka cock's comb. Another common name is "the brain." I found seeds for it in Lowe's or Wal-Mart -- don't remember which one.
