I used to build alot with branches and twigs, I still collect long straight prunings and keep them in a special area of the brush pile. Never know when I'll need them to repair the grape arbor or build something else. I do want to build a new arbor in the orchard some day. I'm always amazed how long the structures last.

Got the magazine yesterday and flipped through it. Pretty as usual, but I'm just the opposite on the seascape decor. I guess maybe it's because I've never lived around water or had any desire to (I can't even swim!). The soft colors of beige and white and gray have always been favorites of mine tho. Just didn't feel like the magazine was worth the $11 this time, but I had to have it all the same.

I had tea an hour ago and completely forgot to grab the magazine on the way out to the garden. I think I'll go sit in the library with it now and relax.

Ohh...now I might ahve to poke about and see if I can find one! Our little cottage is right on the lake shore and I always like seeing other "coastal" gardens and homes! It's funny though, almost all of my flower gardens are in the front, away from the lake. I guess I figure the lake view is enough out back...well, that and there's the 10 fruit trees and wood piles (we heat with wood) that make it hard to work around. I am going to do SOMETHING back there at some point, but I want the front done first.

I need to get a copy of that magazine. I was out the other day and did not see it, where is it available? Thanks!!

I usually can find it at Dollar General, but they didn't have it so I made an extra trip into the city to the shop that sells newspapers and all kinds of magazines. They had one left which I bought.
